That's an improvement!

I think that something may be changing in my husband. I sure hope so. Most of last week he seemed much happier and more postitive. And yesterday we made love twice! I was so thrilled! He usually doesn't touch me much, so to have this happen was pleasantly surprising! He still sounds hopeless on the foster care and adoption fronts, but seems more optimistic on the whole. All I can do is remain faithful and hopeful myself. That is the tough part. it is easy to be positive when there are no rocks thrown in your path. It is so much harder when huge boulders are blocking your way. But after a weekend like this one, I have regained some much lost ground and strength. I just hope we can continue in this upward direction. I think it will help that we have changed what we are studying in scripture study. I decided that Nathan needs more milk than meat right now. And the Old Testament is like a big chunk of steak! He isn't very familiar with the scriptures, so we really should have started with the New Testament. I should have known better. I mean I understand the language of the scriptures quite a bit more. And I have a better understanding of language in general, so I should study it. But together, he needs my help quite a bit in understanding just the basic meanings. I should have thought of that, I really should have. I think we may go through the current conference issue of the Ensign. That is written in modern English, and applies to our current history. But right now, we are just taking it a day at a time, and sometimes an hour at a time.
